SOAR is offered at no charge to participants in substance use addiction recovery. Register HERE - Sep 18th 7pm Survivors For Life Suicide Support Meeting – CULPEPER: a support group for those affected by the unique grief associated with the loss of a loved one to suicide. Meetings are held on the third Mondays of each month in the Encompass Community Supports (formerly Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services) building. The meetings provide a safe place for grieving, and a place to talk and get support. Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month.

OCTOBER
- Oct 12th 12-1 Online Lunch & Learn Addressing Childhood Grief & Loss: many children in our community have lost a parent or sibling are are in nee of resources and support. This event will address the need for children to be heard when they are grieving, the difference between grief and mourning for children, what ways professionals and parents can give support to a grieving child, as well as self-care amidst our collective post-pandemic stress syndrome.
