Fatal Drug Overdose Quarterly Report

The Virginia Department of Health released the latest Fatal Drug Overdose Quarterly Report today.


Fentanyl continues to be the deadliest drug our region is combating.

Statewide, in 2018 (compared to 2017): fatal cocaine overdoses increased 11.8%
and fatal methamphetamine overdoses increased 44.3%
